Applying for a position
Online
        To apply for a VR position, you may submit an application to People First.

        Submitting an online job application is fast and easy. The online form helps reduce errors by
        indicating where you have failed to fill out required information and by prefilling important
        information contained in a vacancy announcement.
Fax
        You may download your completed state application from People First and fax to 850-245-3390
        for consideration of a VR position.

Internship Opportunites
The Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation invites Master's students majoring in rehabilitation
counseling or sign language interpreter training to apply for internships under the supervision of
experienced rehabilitation personnel.

Interning at VR provides students a "hands on" learning opportunity in a real world rehabilitation setting.
Interns will apply their knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to carry out the regular duties of
a VR employee.

In addition to unpaid placements, paid internships are available for a limited number of master’s students
throughout the state.
